How We Rate Online Casinos
Every casino we cover goes through the same checklist. This page explains what we check, how the score is calculated and what we will never do for money.
The review process
Five Checks Before We Publish
A casino only gets a score after it has passed through all five steps. If a step fails, we do not publish a recommendation.
-
01 Step 1
Licence and operator
Who runs the casino, which regulator licenses it, how complaints and disputes are handled, and whether the terms are published in full.
Licence verified
-
02 Step 2
Payments in CAD
Whether Interac and other Canadian payment methods are available, what the limits and fees are, and whether balances are kept in Canadian dollars.
CAD support
-
03 Step 3
Account verification
Which documents are requested, when in the process verification happens and how long it usually takes.
KYC checked
-
04 Step 4
Bonus terms
Wagering requirement, what it applies to, game weighting, maximum bet, time limits and cashout caps, translated into plain language.
Terms decoded
-
05 Step 5
Withdrawals and support
How long payouts take after approval, which limits apply, and how quickly and clearly support answers practical questions.
Payout checked
How the score is weighted
The final score out of 5 combines three groups of checks.
- 35% Payments & payouts Methods, limits, speed
- 35% Licence & safety Regulation, player tools
- 30% Bonus value Terms and fairness
Our rules
What We Do and What We Never Do
We re-check regularly
Bonus terms and payment limits change often. We re-check every listed casino on a regular schedule and update the page and the date when something changes.
If we cannot confirm a key detail, we say so instead of guessing.
We explain the downside
Every review lists what could be better: slow weekend payouts, high wagering, missing payment methods or limited support hours.
A casino that hides important terms cannot get a high score.
We never sell scores
We may earn a commission when a reader signs up through our links. That never changes the score, the position in a ranking or the wording of a review.
Operators do not see reviews before they are published.
We never ignore safer play
Casinos without deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion cannot be recommended.
Operators that ignore self-exclusion or advertise to minors are removed from the site.

Questions About Our Ratings
Who writes and checks the reviews?
Reviews are written by our editors and fact-checked against the operator terms and official sources before publication. See our Editorial Policy.
Do partners pay for better ratings?
No. We may earn a commission from some operators, but the score and position are based only on the checks on this page. Read our Affiliate Disclosure.
How often are scores updated?
We re-check listed casinos regularly and whenever we learn about a change in terms, payments or licensing. The date of the last check is shown on every review.
Can I report outdated information?
Yes, please do. Write to us through the contact form or at [email protected] and we will check it.
